I think between this post, the first Livin' In The '90s post, the Powerviolence postand a few others like the Assfactor 4 post for instancethis should prove that the '90s underground scene was simply nothing short of amazing. I met a lot of great people doing this, and got to help get some great and rare music out there, some of which i thought would never have see the light of day otherwise.
Give My Taxes Back! I'll just say that i think the underground music scenes of the '90s was just as important and influential as the '80s.

The second album by Crown of Thornz, "Mentally Vexed," definitely introduced the world to a new style of hardcore-punk, with the unique songwriting of Mike Dijan and the lyrical style of Ezec. South Bend Power Nineties. Released inby Another Planet records, "Mentally Vexed" was more accessible and very different from it's predecessor, "Trainyard Blues," with it's clearer production which by the way, wasn't very appreciated, you'll understand in a couple posts from now and overall less-dark vibe.
